The HTC One may have been eclipsed by the new HTC One M8, but fear not because the original unibody aluminium smartphone has not been forgotten.

HTC have confirmed that they will release HTC Sense 6 update for the HTC One before the end of May. The information was unveiled by the President of HTC America on Twitter with the May release relating to the US and Canada, but it should rollout worldwide at the same time.

The latest version of HTC's custom software, which comes pre-loaded on the One M8, brings with it a host of new features and improvements, including new Motion Gestures that work when the screen is turned-off and a vastly improved version of  Blinkfeed.

As soon as we get more news about the release of HTC Sense 6 for the HTC One you'll be the first to know. The update is also expected to be released for the HTC One Mini and the HTC One Max, but details remain elusive at the current time.
