Customers who joined or upgraded to EE before January 23rd 2014 are going to see a small price increase in their monthly tariffs.

The 2.7% increase will affect all EE customers on 12 month, 18 month or 24 month Pay Monthly or Small Business contracts. The higher prices will come into affect on bills received after May 28th and customers should receive a letter in the post confirming the changes.

Those who signed up to EE after January 23rd won't be affected by the price increases. Customers may still get a letter in the post alerting them of the increases, but fear not because you won't be hit by the price hikes.

Price increases are never good, but to be fair EE's changes are only in line with the most recent Retail Price Index, which is a measure of UK inflation put together by the Office for National Statistics.
