Blackberry 10.1 will come pre-loaded on the Blackberry Q10 and roll-out on the Z10 soon !
Blackberry launched the Blackberry 10 operating back in January when it debuted on the Blackerry Z10. The operating system was generally well received and shortly it looks set to get even better when the first major update lands.
Leaked information suggests that Blackberry's upcoming Q10 QWERTY smartphone will come pre-loaded with Blackberry 10.1. While, owners of the Blackberry Z10 will get the update a couple of weeks after the Blackberry Q10 goes on sale (April 26th).
As you would expect the new operating system has had to be overhauled in order to accommodate the Q10's QWERTY keyboard and smaller touch-screen. However, a number of new features will also be enjoyed by owners of the Blackberry Z10.
One new feature added is a HDR camera mode which leads to even better snaps being captured on both of the smartphones' 8 mega-pixel cameras. While, the Blackberry Hub will support email attachments, contact suggestions and PIN-to-PIN messaging.
Notifications also benefit from improvements because you can customisation notifications on a per contact basis. You'll also be able to copy numbers from (and to) your smartphones dialler and will also notice improvements to the calendar application.
