The Sony Xperia P is one of 3 new smartphones in Sony's NXT range which incorporate a stunning new design, which was first seen on the Sony Xperia S.
Online retailer "The Clove" have added the Sony Xperia P to its website where the amazing mobile is listed as launching on May 7th. The price for the Xperia P has been listed at £330, which looks like great value to the guys at 3G !
The Xperia P sits below the Xperia S in Sony's range it has some amazing features which even the Xperia S can't match. One such feature is the addition of Sony Whitemagic Display technology, which is the first time the feature has appeared on a smartphone.
Whitemagic Technology ensures that the Xperia P's 4 inch Mobile Bravia touch-screen is visible in all light conditions, even in bright conditions such as in direct sunlight. Whitemagic will also automatically adjust the screen's brightness to the current lighting conditions, which ensures you don't unnecessarily drain the battery.
Aside from the amazing touch-screen the Xperia P also has a 1 Ghz dual-core processor, 16GB of on-board memory and an 8 mega-pixel camera. Supported connectivity includes WiFi, Bluetooth , 3G and even NFC !
The only major disappointment with the Xperia P is that it ships running on Android Gingerbread, but it'll be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich shortly after launch. As soon as we get news of the Xperia P appearing on any of the major retailers we'll be sure to let you know.
