iPhone Mini To Launch In 2012 ?

Apple have been rumoured to be launching an Apple iPhone Mini/Nano for such a long time and the latest rumours suggest it could finally be coming to fruition.
The China Times have reported that Apple are going to launch a more affordable Mini version of the iPhone in 2012. Apparently suppliers in the region have been talking about production of the smartphone , but very little other information is available.
Apple don't have a mid-range smartphone to compete with the plethora of Android smartphones on the market, so it would be a smart idea for them to launch a more affordable Apple iPhone. However, Apple just need to be careful that the release of the iPhone Nano doesn't detect from its brand or the appeal of the iPhone.
3G really thinks Apple would be smart to release a slightly more affordable iPhone and will report of any news that surfaces related to the iPhone Nano/Mini.
