iPhone 5 To Launch In June and Have Liquid Metal Case ?

We've heard so many rumours about the iPhone 5 in the last few months but we still don't feel any more certain about when it'll launch and what features it'll have.

Now another new rumour has surfaced to add to the confusion further. According to information reported by Korean site ETNews the iPhone 5 will feature a totally new design and will be unveiled in June at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Fransisco.

The source also claimed that the iPhone 5 would feature a Liquid Metal case, which would make it both lighter and stronger than previous models. Apple has the rights to use Liquid Metal Alloys in its devices and has had them since 2010 , so its definitely possible the technology could make an appearance on the iPhone 5.

Liquid Metal technology combines a number of metals together and then gives them a ceramic finish on the outside, which gives it a stylish and smooth appearance.  Many people were disappointed with the iPhone 4S looking and feeling identical to the iPhone 4, so such a radical change is likely to be well appreciated.

However, we should say that this is just a rumour and 3G thinks that a June unveiling is quite unlikely, because the Apple iPhone 4S has only been on the market a couple of months. As soon as we hear anything more about the iPhone 5 we'll let you know.
