Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 To Get Android 2.1
![]() |
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be getting updated to Android 2.1, if implications made by Sony Ericsson are to be believed.
Sony Ericsson claimed a big update was due in the near future in response to claims that its version of Android was badly outdated. Android 2.1 will improve the phone no end and bring the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 nearer to its competitors.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is a high-end mobile that has a 4 inch touch-screen display, a Snapdragon 1 GHz mobile processor and an 8 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus and flash.
Another criticism levied at the Xperia X10 is the lack of multi-tasking and at the press event Sony Ericsson said the limitations were not hardware based. Therefore, we can all hope that in the future multi-tasking is added.
