Palm has updated its webOS operating system to version 1.4.1, which fixes a lot of known bugs and brings a couple of improvement to Palm Pre owners.
It’s a minor update compared to the 1.4 update that arrived at the start of the month, which brought video capture capability and Adobe flash support.
The 1.4.1 update enables users outside the US to buy paid applications, tweaks the shutter delay on the camera, fixes the volume slider bug, re-instates the forward gesture in the browser, fixes a Youtube bug where links outgoing emails weren’t working and ensures that Bluetooth Audio works with BMW cars.
Also users who haven’t upgraded to 1.4 and consequently 1.4.1 should definitely consider it because you can get three free games which are Monopoly, Need for Speed Underground and The Sims 3.
The Pixi Plus also has a touch-screen and keyboard, 2 mega-pixel camera and music player, 8GB if storage but now also supports 3G and WiFi connectivity.
Once we get official confirmation of the launch of the Pixi Plus and Pre Plus in the UK we’ll be sure to let you know.
