The Nokia Here and Now Application is now available for the Nokia X6 as well as the Nokia 5800.

Here and Now provides users with location-based services such as the weather, local restaurants, cinema listings and events. The application uses your CellID to locate where you are in the world and will then use its database to provide relevant information.

In essence the service enables you to easily find entertainment in your area and also enables you to book services or gain additional information.

You can also input a postcode or location instead of using the location your currently at. This is useful if you’re planning to go somewhere later in the day or in the future and would like to find something to do or check what weather to expect.

The application, which is produced by Nokia Beta Labs, can be downloaded from the Ovi Store right now.

Supported mobiles include Nokia devices based on S60 3rd Edition devices such as the N95, N85 and selected Nokia Series 40 devices including the 6600 classic. One device known to have issues with the application is the Nokia N96.
