Back in December we advised that Android Market had listed over 20,000 Apps for download. 4 months later we are pleased to advise that this figure has soared to over 50,000. That’s an impressive increase of 7500 Android Apps added per month.

The suceess of Android market is currently being fuelled by Google’s Nexus One and its variants such as the HTC Desire. In fact the whole area of Android Handset growth is predicted to be a huge growth area which will only further fuel both Android App downloads and the escalation of available Apps. 3G recently posted an article which predicts that Android App Downloads will Hit 800 Million in 2010.
