The service launched with MTN is a pure entertainment news service covering the most spectacular entertainment happenings in the world. With this service MTN’s customers can find out what their favorite music and movie stars are doing today.

“Entertainment news is growing more popular in all channels, including mobile phones. This cooperation with Kamera strengthens our offering in the mobile entertainment segment” says Ashraff Paruk, General Manager, Products, Services and Innovation, MTN South Africa.

The launch with MTN is the first project resulting from the Content Distribution Agreement Kamera recently signed with Ericsson. The project was initiated through Ericsson and the video clips delivered from Kamera will be handled by Ericsson’s content management solution.

“We are very happy to launch this service with MTN in South Africa. This is our first cooperation in Africa and MTN has a very strong position in many African markets” says Dan Willstrand, Head of Sales at Kamera.
