Hi all
Thinking about signing up with 3. Not for the 3g services but purely because their doing the best deal on voice calls. Does anyone know what the voice coverage is like in West Yorkshire, specifically the Halifax / Hebden Bridge area.
Thanks in advance
Sam

Hi I live in Chichester (West Sussex) and I dont have any problems with 3 coverage. When you sign up to 3 you have 14 days money back guarantee if you find the phone/network is not satisfactory. My advice is to try the phone for 14 days and if your not happy return it. Sorry I can not be of more help
I'm not sure about Halifax, but I can tell you about Leeds. City centre coverage is quite decent, but outside the centre it is patchy. For example, 3G reception in the University (which has 50,000 odd students) is pants - and that's not far from the city centre. Headingley's reception is okay around the superdrug store! Where I live (not far from the uni), there is a weak unusable 3g signal that it keeps on tapping on to - so I have to manually switch to 2g before I can make a phone call. However, three assure me that they're adding a new mast around here in December... so we'll see. I'm ready for an 'upgrade' around that time too :D
