I have just bought an LG 3 phone on the '500 minutes + 100 texts' tariff for £30 per month. Very pleased so far.
The only thing I am a little unsure about is the charges for various calls/services:
- Are voicemail calls included in the 500 minutes?
- How much do I pay when I am connected to the 'internet'? Do I just pay for the amount of data I browse or do I only pay for things when they have prices next to them, such as football videos?
- How much do I pay for data exchanged when checking e-mail?
- Which calls can I possibly be charged for, within the 500 minutes? I guess, video calls, international calls, and some non-standar landlines like 0845/0870?
MANY THANKS! :)

Hi,
I don't currently have a handset on Three, but I think I can help you with some points. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me!
AFAIK voicemail comes out of your inclusive minutes.
Use of the Three 3G 'intranet' is free - you pay for the content you purchase, all of which states the price before you download. You cannot browse onto the rest of the Internet.
Email used to be free, though has always meant to be chargable. The charge was supposed to be levied depending on the size of the email. It's probably still free at the moment.
Your talk time can be used to geographical landlines and mobiles in the UK. Most 0845 and 0870 numbers should be charged, but AFAIK they currently come out of your inclusive minutes. Video calls are 50ppm, and international costs vary.

I was similarly confused when I first signed on 3! I think they should improve some of their manual information.
" Are voicemail calls included in the 500 minutes? "
Voicemail calls are always free, no matter how many times you use it.
"- How much do I pay when I am connected to the 'internet'? Do I just pay for the amount of data I browse or do I only pay for things when they have prices next to them, such as football videos? "
Amount of data doesnt matter, it's completely free to browse. You only pay for something when it explicitly says so on the screen.
"- How much do I pay for data exchanged when checking e-mail? "
Free.
"- Which calls can I possibly be charged for, within the 500 minutes? I guess, video calls, international calls, and some non-standar landlines like 0845/0870? "
Not sure about international calls, but the only chargeable numbers are premium rate 09 numbers. 0845, 0870 etc will come out of your free minutes.
Hope this helps!
delinquentwoody voicemail is taken out of your free minutes then it's 5p a minute after that. your emails are (probably) free for first month but after that there's a charge.
just search the internet for a proper list of prices
