i have followed all the instructions and procedure etc necessary to unlock my iphone BUT it still is not showing any network signal???

i want to use it on t-mobile.

what bootloader you have? also what version of baseband? if you have bootloader 5.09 or 6.02 and baseband 2.30 you can't unlock it yet .

ok my 3g iphone is on version 3.0, modem firmware is 04.26.08

i have installed cydia on it but wondering what the procedure is now in terms of unlocking it?

unlocked now and working fine on t-mobile.

just a quick question, iphone is running 3.0, but for some strange reason when i click on a photo the 'mms' option is not there?

any ideas?

Has to be supported by the network! I Guess it must work in a slightly different way to regualr MMS hence who ATT do not have it up and running in the states yet!

all the settings are installed for t-mobile.

Enabling Free Tethering
Open Safari on your iPhone 3G, browse to http://help.benm.at and scroll down to mobile configs, then select your country and your provider from the settings. Then go to Settings >> General >> Network >> Internet Tethering and simply turn it on! You can now use your iPhone 3G to connect to the internet using your computer.

found this via google, everything works now.....hope this helps someone else...
