Could anyone tell me how good 3's signal is in south wales? I'm going there in a week and want to know if i should also take my vodafone! (Brecon area- where i've had no trouble in the past with me old vodafone.)
I dont trust 3's coverage checker as it LIES!

I live in Neath no problems, Swansea is also good.

Even if you cant get a 3 signal, it will use O2.

You'll lose coverage along parts of the A470 and side roads towards the beacons themselves but not for too long stretches at a time - thought naturally most of the coverage will be 2.5 not 3g.

Signal in the mountains/ remote towns of wales is better than in Kent (slap bang next to london)- by FAR! Ok so when in a valley- you get none- but all the rest of the time i had full signal all weekend- without it constantly swapping like it does at home.
The rain rained- the wind blew- but we had a proper good time. Again big up wales- my favorite place- BY FAR!

I live in wales and have a 3g phone for nearly 2 years and always have some sort of reception.
The big cities are not that great with 3g then?

My 3G signal in Newport just south of brecon is always good. The only place it goes down to 2.5G is at school.
