Yeah, but then again, Three's focus isn't really 3G at the moment is it. They need to focus on the cheap trariffs to get the numbers up.
Given that you have to be "nuts" to want mobile Internet, I don't think there's much chance of any breathtaking killer aps/areas any time soon...

The video value add on gives you access to download the majority of stuff for free for a tenner a month.
This would give you access to a walking MTV Video jukebox/ ITN news desk/Weather Channel/Sky Sports features/Premiership Football downloads/Angry Kid/Movie reviews/Celeb gossip/map finder/Funmail etc etc
You do not get such high quality content on any other network!
The only thing you don't get is WAP/Internet access (let's not start a thread on that topic again please!)

yea, but is it worth it even if it does seem to be cheap?
As today's example, who other than three would call the following news stories "national" (rather than international or "world" as they call it):
Chechen rebels offer bounty for Putin;
Chirac orders plane detour for nap.
There's also "Turmeric may guard against lukaemia" which might sound like national news -- but actually it's about a scientist at Loyola University Medical Centre in Chicago and another one from the University of California. The only connection with Britain being that the conference they're all at was financed by a British charity.
Not just crap content -- crap geography too!
Look at it for yourself. It's so regularly not-national (and not really news either) that I don't bother with it anymore. If I wanted those sort of stories, I'd buy the Sun (and get the equivalent to the top shelf page for free too).
Oh and have you checked the accuracy (and places covered) by the weather channel? It's wrong so often for the closest I can get to here (in South Devon) that the best thing to do is to take the weather as being the opposite of what it says!
It might seem cheap to buy, but I find it to be cheap quality -- you get what you pay for, definitely not "high quality": the quality matches the price and based on the quality it really should be free!
I don't want to harp on about it, but if we had geniune internet access we could then get real national news (or technical news or sporty news or motoring news or whatever you want) from independent and reliable sources that we can choose -- and I could also use those that know the difference between Britain and Russia, France or the USA!
Just my opinion of course.

I think it is dire in the extreme.
Not worth a light.
Just checking the half baked email service (which thankfully remains free) is becoming a 10 minute/4 try event lately.
Discovered with the LG that I can't delete mail unless I open it first & the built in phone email client is defunct - correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry you all feel like this!
The truth of the matter is you get varied rich media delivered straight to your handset which is second to non to any other network (apart from WAP but see my first reply).
Don't you ever watch your national evening news these days? I'm sure it would have been ignorance to isolate it to home stories. The news content via video is suppplied by ITN and the text (which is all free) is supplied by Reuters. Both world class news providers.
The new train service My Train isn't just a timetable, it's a live delivery of all train arrivals and departures within the UK, it is directly linked to Networks Rails systems, so 25p could save you 30minutes at standing at a wet and windy train station waiting for a delayed train!
You can also get X Factor video highlights under the 'Showbiz' icon for 50p.
Have a look deeper into your browser and I am sure you will see there's more than meets the eye!

Oh and the LG handset email works fine for me! Have a look at your manuals and set it up correctly (it is pretty easy).

The football and sport information is not easy to navigate through quickly, especially if you just want to find something quick, it always tries to get you to watch a video
