hi my mrs bought me a new phone a couple of weeks ago which was the samsung f700.
when i opened the box i was suprised how nice this phone looked but after a few days of playing with it i realised that the touch screen was not very good because when i tried to press a key it did something totally different.
anyway a few days later the screen and keypad completly stoped working and i could`nt do anything not even make a call or recieve a call so i have now sent this back to where she bought it from and told them i dont want another.
so saturday i went and got a contract phone from 02 which was the apple iphone and i must say how nice this is.
i have never owned a decent phone before so this is really up market for me and iam in the process of learning all functions.
i have managed to sort a few ringtones out but cant do the same for message tones it does`nt seem i can do this.
any help on this would be appriciated.

The only way to change the message tones is to 'Jailbreak' it. Unless you know what you are doing I would suggest you don't go down that route for the present.

Yes it can. Google "Jailbreak" 2.1 and you will get a number of sites giving you the method
