I've just bought a N82 and loaded tomtom on it no problem.
the problem I have is the auto rotation feature. I want to output the display onto my screen in my car, which will be a lot easier to see when I'm lost. This requires the phone to be in landscape mode (portrait mode doesn't fill the screen) so here starts my problem.
If I flip the phone into landscape and start tomtom all is well. If I then flip the phone into portrait mode the screen blanks (shows the background) and tomtom needs restarting. This wasn't an issue I thought as I'll just start tomtom in landscape mode and hold the phone in that position but when I do a right turn in the car the phone thinks it is being flipped into portrait and blanks the screen.
Mcguider, Garmin and Nokia Maps all work flawlessly with the rotation. It just seems to be tomtom.
Anyone know of an app that will manually control the screen rotation rather than using the auto rotation?
