Regards to the warranty, if the phone is a UK version of the phone and not a grey import. All you need to do is ring a nokia service centre give them the phones ime and most of them should be able to confirm if your phone is under warranty against the nokia data base, Nokias now come with a 2 year warranty.

What is not covered under warranty is water and physical damage.

The phones ime and the ime of the box should match each other, and there could be several reasons why they don't match.

A couple of reasons could be that the seller had more than one phone to sell and got the box's mixed up, although if I was the seller I would of checked these details before sending out the phone.

Another reason for the difference could be that the original phone was faulty or lost and had it replaced under warranty or insurance, where they could send the replacement in plain packaging.
