I think they've stopped offering it because of the complaints. I had to send mine back 3 times because of a gap around the phone. The courier who came to pick it up said he's taken hundreds back to o2 for the same problem.

I think its a good phone. It's just the slight gap around the edges that bothers people. The one i have now has a gap but its not bothering me any more. My Father got one last week an his has even less of a gap, but his is going on ebay because he'd only use it for work and it'd get VERY messy.

Hi,
What do you mean by 'gap around the phone'?

Alot of N82's have a gap around the edge of the phone, where the front meets the side. I still think its one of the best phones out at the moment. My dad's just got one for taking out a new contract and his gap is hardly noticeable, but its going on ebay because he doesnt need it.

I'm suprised. The N82 is one of the best built phones I've had. Compared with a N95 it feels solid, and nothing else can meet it on features.

why has it been taken down though? N95 was never in that situation yet it was a much worse phone then this N82 by the sounds of it

Have to agree with that :) Happiest I have ever been with a Nokia

You can buy the N82 on O2 here:

You can still buy it on O2 from CPW. But apart from that I think Orange (n82 black) is the only other place and if you ask me the black one is better anyway. Not just looks wise but a lot of people have said its build quality is better especially the d-pad.
