playing up already!!

only had my n82 a couple of months and its aldready mucking me about:rolleyes:thought id got rid of these problem when i dumped the n95 but it still plays up when sending texts!!

accorrding to the nokia site its already running the newest software so an update is not possible:confused:

the messages dont appear to be sent and end up in the outbox then i get a message saying that its failed!

but the messages sometimes get sent 3-4 times:eek:

any clues to whats wrong with it?? i was looking to sell it and get an iphone but cant with this problem:mad:

Sounds more like a network problem to me.

it works fine with my other phone though so it got me thinking it was the n82"s software,had same problems with the n95 as well:(

try reinstal the firmware.Sometime it helps.

sounds to me like the phone is not 'hearing' the network response, therefore assumes that the message is failing.. when in fact it isnt.

therefore i would put it down to a combination of software/ recieve sensitivity..

Happens occasionaly with my 82 on O2.. .just go to the outbox and select the message and resend. :) Bit of a pain I know
