n82 shut down

Can some please help me i have an n82 and the battery has gone flat the phone shut down.
I have plugged it in to charger and nothing at all.
I have tried the charger with another phone and it works fine.
I really done want to go though all the hassle of sending it back.

Well, I am no expert but if that was me I would take the battery out and give the contact area a wipe on a clean cloth (shirt etc) then leave the charger in for a good long while....
After that if it still doesn't work go to a local Nokia centre and they might be able to fix it in the store.
Not much help but that is all I can suggest.
Good luck...I had my N93 mess up and had to do without it for almost 2 weeks and it was a right pain in the behind
