Upgrading n95 8gb firmware.

Hey does anybody know if i upgrade my n95 8gb firmware will I need to reinstall all my apps, I have isntalled them on the mass memory so will they stay or will they need to be reinstalled?

Reason I want to upgrade is I have seen that the new firmware offers the ability to view flash inside the web browser e.g. no need to have stand alone app for youtube and am free to use other sites which use flash.

Alternatively, anyone know of a way that enables flash use inside the web browser?

how do u know the firmware version , and where u can download the new version ???

You should be able to dial *#0000# the first line will show you the version number.

You need to use the Nokia firmware updater to update this

Just upgraded mine to ver 15. You do need to reinstall your applications.

I had to reinstall Advanced device locks and device status. Just do a normal backup to reinstall pics/videos etc. Mine worked great.
