N95-2 screen flickering in standby mode

Not fault finding or anything but I have noticed over the past few days that strange colours briefly flash up on my screen, this is when the backlight is on and it goes from portrait to landscape mode - when the date and time comes up. On the bar which has the time and date, it will show an array of red, orange or white for a split second before displaying time/date, which is constantly flickering, while the backlight is on.

Anyone else noticed this on he N95 8gig?
Rest of the phone seems fine and it does not do this while in normal use.

Oh and I have just noticed that it is worse (the flickering) the lower you have the light sensor setting.

Replacing it with a different screensaver seems to mask this - out of site, out of mind!
Been doing a bit of digging and it does seem to be a known issue, and not something which has been fixed with new firmware updates.

yeah i get this when the screen dims for screen saver it flickers.
