I've worked for orange for 2 months now as an xmas temp and i've just been offered a permanent contract. At the same time, I cannot stand my phone (it's a shameful nokia 6111), it cuts off while im on a call, charges only when it feels like it and will switch off when it's not having a good day. I desperately need a new phone and I like orange's deals so I wanted to get an orange contract, however, in 3 months time after my probation period ends, i'll be eligible for a liberate phone/contract - does anyone know if i'll be able to either cancel my contract and get a liberate contract, upgrade my contract to a liberate contract (whether I have to change my handset or keep it i don't mind) or will I have to wait till my contract ends untill i can get a liberate contract?

congratulations on being made permanent makes a company especially in the current financial climate to keep people on, all i can suggest is speaking to your area manager to advise you on what you can do concerning your orange contract

yes if you read the liberate policy on guru it will tell you that you can cancel your current contract FOC and move to liberate with the same number.
Just fill out the liberate order form on source along with the "change of ownership to liberate" and fax them accross.
