I cannot begin to state the unbelievable way 3 treats is customers. I can only say from joining and reading this forum that its a relief to see that I am not alone in this madness. 3 service is about the worst everything I have ever had from any phone network in the last 12 years. I joined 3 in January and obtained what seemed a good deal on talk time ( talk 750) which at 35 pounds was way ahead of any other network. Didn't like the phone ( A835) but it was the only one Phones4u had in stock and they even gave me 80 pounds cash back which seemed even better. Oh dear its all to good to be true...!!! like anything that seems to good to be true !!! I have been conned big time!! First day phone buttons didn't work!! they gave me a new phone the same day! 2 weeks later they phone has lost the plot it does what it wants when it wants!! sent it back for repair. Collected as stated (only good point) won't give me another phone to use and told me 3 days. 6 days later got the phone back (Cheers 3 on time as stated NOT!!) 2 weeks go by same thing again!!! not having this at all. Had same thing with a Nokia 8210 ( 18 repairs later before they gave me a new phone after 3 months T-Mobile) requested a new phone not a repair!! this is what makes a companies service stand out from the rest of the cowboys!!! I might as well banged my head of a wall. Got the call centre in India they were polite but like pointed out by other people very slow!! unable to speak or understand correct english, asking the same details over and over again!!. Spoke to a supervisor and they was as much use as the person I had just spoke to. What happened to customer is king, its seems in India they have a script for everything and thats it! no different situations are allowed and the customer gets told whats on the script no matter who you speak to ( this would not happen in England )!!! They failed to resolve the problem other than saying I could pay 450 pounds for another handset which I could buy for 70 pounds in the local video shop!!Sorry if I am ranting but after leaving my phone working when it suits it for 3 month its all gone to far. I rang the call centre which I waited for about 15-20 minutes to get an answer to try get my phone collected and repaired again. They arranged that no problem as that must be on the script!! And I paid my phone bill by debit card as they had sent me 3 text messages saying my bill was overdue. Which I admit was part my fault as I was working away and my wage had not gone in the bank so the direct debit failed( which cost me 30 pounds OW). Today i goes to the cash machine and notice 70 pounds is missing from my bank account!! Check my account and I bet you can guess who's taken it YES 3. Opens my phone bill which they had sent to the wrong address because I changed it weeks ago. They decided to change my billing date to 10 days earlier than normal ( Thanks 3 good job no other direct debits were comming out this week!!) As well as taking the 35.90 I owed them from the last bill they have taken this months and the idiot I spoke to last night has another payment for the 35.90 . Well straight forward you would thing, ring them and get them to refund the extra payment I paid last night..!!! not on your life it seems the muppet script says NO REFUNDS ( which seems very strange). Poor speaking Indian guy tells me that I will have to leave it on the account for next month. Oh no I say OH F*$#$@G NO...... Asked to speak to a supervisor which took 20 minutes of screeming at this guy to get him to do! after he gave me 10 different excuses why he couldn't and mention something about going to the bank and getting indemnity !! which would probably take about a month anyway. He passed me to a supervisor who was cleary informed by this guy that I am not a happy bunny!!! She said yeah we will give you a refund.... success !! well sort of it will take about 5 days . I know it takes 30 seconds to refund a payment to a debit card. They must be getting someone from India to walk to england and put the money back into my account. Well as its clear that 3 is on the way to being bankrupt if my experiance is anything to go by. I have taken action to rid myself of the torture every time it takes me 15 attempts to make a phone call even if I am under a phone mast! I have reduced my tarif to 15 pounds which takes effect at the end of the month and has taken 2 months to do as they will only drop the tarif 1 level a month!! I will be cancelling my contract which will cost me about 60-80 pounds but hey live and learn! I will warn every person I speak to, that they are making a big mistake getting a phone or contract from 3, I don't know anyone on 3 who has not had the same sort of problems. I hope 3 reads the messages and takes notice. One option which would save money even cheaper than a call center in India. Take the muppet script you train the staff with and make an option menu like when you first ring and get the answer machine to tell the customer that you don't do refunds, and a new customer who is paying your wages can't get a decent phone to use!!! That's how much use the call centre in India is!!
