Had 2 phones, one for me and second ffor child for sacfety as I am not very well am unable to to oxygen to go outside to him. (Live in safe area but just for peace of mind etc) Wanted PAYG but talked into second contract. Now do not get use from and £10 would go further than one or two months and save me some money. Tried to ask them to reduce or waive term fee but all they would do is say let someone else take it over. Heck all I know have phone already. Surely they can flex their rules. I did offer to pay something but think the whole amount is outrageous. I know contract but even so they can and should be able to help. reading posts on here people have managed to cancel for variety of reasons, some gleened from posts here, without chatges. I asked reduce monthly fee then to £10, won't do that eitherSaid reduce call bundle not a problem, but no. Spent 90 mins on phone. Asked for MD's name. Told not allowed to have!! Have now got it.

Surely 3can help in some cases. Offered to meet them to a point but just wont help me. THey say virtially impossible to help...that means to me not cast iron that they cannot.

Help/advice please.
Tired, frustrated ....

Once you have gone past the period of grace (if there was one) it is deemed that you have accepted the contract, and you are stuck with their terms and conditions.

To cancel or reduce the contract you would need to prove to 3's head office that you were miss sold the contract or similar, and hope they would see it that way and maybe come to some agreement.

Unless you can prove that they somehow missold it to you, or that the extra money being 'wasted' is effecting your standard of living. You are pretty much scewed, sorry to say.
