3 sim in o2 datacard

Hi all, I'm a newbie and total clutz when it comes to this sort of thing so please excuse my ignorance.

The simple question I have is...will a payg 3 data card work in an o2 data card? (will it need unlocking etc) I have the data card and want to get rid of my super-slow home broadband as it costs me more than I want for the usage I get.

As much info as poss would be great.

1) Yes you can use other sims if Data card already unlocked.
2)Which data card? Option? If yes, search word Option datacard. You need options drivers only and configure dial up network. This might do the trick to allow other sims. If that doesnt work than look under Datacard forum here for unlocking service providers.

Thanks, the card I have is a Novatel Merlin u630. I'[ve heard these are quite slow...what speeds can I expect? The vodafone card I borrowed from work gave me speeds of 1.8mb, which is adequate for my use.

I think you will need to see an Unlocking Expert. Look under unlocking....
