Hey guys,
I've had my N95 since April last year with no problems at all. Yesterday, I took it out of my pocket and the screen was really dark. Everything else works, but I can just hardly make anything out on the screen.
Anyone else had a similar problem?
Will Orange just replace it free of charge do you reckon?
Orange will replace the phone up until it is 6 months old. After that any warranty work is then carried out by a nokia service centre. UK nokia's now come with a 2 year warranty, with the exception of any damage caused by water or physical damage ie the phone having been dropped.
You can use the web site below to find your nearest nokia service centre.

My 1st N95 did the same - my local Nokia Service Center sent it away and Nokia replaced it.
I have heard a few people with the same problem so I guess it must be a fairly common (and major) fault.
My current N95 though has been trouble free ;)

I spoke to Orange and they wouldn't do anything as I got my N95 from Phones4u. They advised me to go and speak to them. I thought, oh dear god, as they're generally rubbish when you want to get something sorted. So I popped into the Phones4u in Bath and they've posted it off to some 3rd party repairs company. I should hear back early next week.
I'm a little worried as I've changed the Product Code to the generic Euro1 code and it's also on the latest generic firmware. I hope that doesn't land me in it as it obviously voids the warranty!
