Hiya all,

A newbie to the forum and the Nokia N95 (been a Sony Ericsson user for a few years now). Just got myself the N95 8bg from Three. Been playing with it a few days, overall, quite pleased, but not quite happy with some niggles here and there. I've read about the firmware update, and would love to have it on my phone. But since it's a Three branded one, it's not available to me. :(

So is debranding a possibility with Three? I've read about them being able to detect you using the SIM card on a non three phone, so will they detect the debranding? Also, I use the Three services a lot, after debranding, would it be possible to add these back to it so I can check my usage, use the MSN and Skype functions etc?

Cheers!

Hi

I debranded my old N80 and installed the N80ie software and regretted it as I could not access many of 3's services.

Just a warning;)

Darn, I was worried about that. Thanks for the heads up. Just a matter of the waiting game now. :(
