I bought this phone yesterday as my previous contract had expired and I didn't like my Sony K800i much because of the slider to cover the lens would always open when I put it in my pocket and the joystick kept playing up. I wanted a phone which has lots of features, reliable and can view film and game trailers.

Is the N82 the new flagship or is the N95 still top of the range?

I want to download movie trailers and let one of my work mates view them so he can see what film he would like to watch next but on my PC I am only able to view them no option to download so can anyone tel me how I can transfer them to the N82 please.

I have an ipod-touch I take it there is no way I can transfer things from there to my N82?

Is there a way I can get my phone to remember my password on my router instead of asking me for the password everytime it wants to connect?

When I try to view the internet the pages wont load up is this because I am not allowing pop ups?

The phone has so many features I dont know what half of them do or what I am doing really :D My only negative point is I had to sign an 18 month contract with O2 £40 a month and recieve 800 mins and unlimited txts. I could have got the N95 8GB with Vodafone who I was with and for £40 I would have got unlimited txts, unlimited calls to landlines and 500 mins to ring any network but I wanted the top model as I was going to be on an 18 mont contract i didn't want to see it out of date too quickly.

I have 14 days should I wish to want to change my mind but I like this phone because it is light, loaded with features and the lens is protected although part of me thinks I should have fone with the N95 because of the bigger screen size and it looks sexier.

Hi tony,
so many questions so step by step,OK?
A new flagship? Maybe,but there's also N95 8GB with bigger screen.Is up to you.
Movie trailers?Download them to your pc and then transfer through BT or cable. You can also watch full movies.Just convert them using either Nokia video manager or anyvideo converter.
I-pod?Never had one. Sorry :D
Router password? I don't know how you did initial setup, but i did set up only once and now I even don't know my password as the phone connect automaticaly.
Internet? There's no need to allow or disable pop ups.If you can't see the internet there's something wrong with your connection.
O2vs.Vodafone? Stay with O2 and stay with N82 as well. Good luck :D .

Thanks for your reply. I quite like the phone not sure I got a good deal though as a new customer I didn't get anything and I pay £40 on an 18 month contract and get 800 mins and unlimited txts.
I can view internet sites now and it remembers to connect to my router but if I choose sat nav I still have to put in my password. Thanks for your help

About the ipod (applies to any sort)..I am pretty sure you wont be able to go from ipod to N82 direct, it would need to be via PC or mac

Hi tony,
I'm glad that things are sorted.Don't worry about £40/18mnts. On Orange is similar ( see above) but you won't complain so many time as Orange customers do. O2 did and doing big improvements.
