# Hash key profile change problem

A friend of mine has a unbranded unlocked N82 and when pressing the # hash key the profile will not change to silent.
The hash key does work, and the firmware is the same as mine...

Any ideas?

Hi dd,
i noticed this as well.if you take a closer look to the # key the N82 is missing the sound mark an doesn't support the profile switch.
However,after I updated firmware the # key now switching on to silent mode .

Mine works. When I hold # it goes to silend mode and when I hold it down again it goes back to general mode.

Depends on the firmware varient!

Euro 1 supports the hash change, others sometimes do not.

Yeah mine does work... its my mates that does'nt weird
