X-series Gold And Slingbox N95-8gb

HI GUYS i am with 3 and have been offered the n95 8gb as an upgrade from my n95 ..
can anyone confirm that slingbox works with this phone

My three version of slingplayer on my n95 8gb only streams video for about 10 seconds then freezes. Normally the only way round this is to restart slingplayer. Anyone else had these symptoms?

For anyone still interested in this, they have just released a new version of Slingplayer mobile that now supports the N95 8gb

Shortly after I got my N95 8Gb I downloaded the slingplayer from the 3 site before I signed up for x-series gold. It worked fine (had to move the slider to get it to change orientation to get the screen back to normal after using the remote as the picture became a thin strip and it wouldn't play in full screen). Updated the phone software a couple of days ago and found that when I went back to download it from 3 it just said my phone was not compatible !. So I downloaded the player from Slingbox and it works fine - drops nicely into fullscreen when the handset is turned on it's side thanks to ASR and back again when returned upright. Apart from it mentioning about a 30 day trial is there a disadvantage to using the player from Sling as apposed to the now none existant one from 3 ?.

yes you dont get 80 hrs of viewing it comes out of your data allowance and sling would eat that up pretty quick.

I was having freezing problems on my N95 8GB until recently, but they've all disappeared. Try redownloading from the 3 site, preferably after upgrading to v20. The download link definitely works.
