In a word, no.

this normally is due to a change on your account!

Did you call 121? When I was with tmobile I used to get that message then.

222 will do it too

I'm getting these too. I have received 4 in the last few days as SIM messages.

The first I know about it is when I pick my N73 up and it says 'Allow SIM to send message?'. You have to accept and then it spends about a minute sending an unknown message.

Checking the SIM Messages inbox (hidden in Messages) shows that T-Mobile have now sent four messages in the last few days.

What is going on? And what are these messages changing on my phone?? I have made no changes to my account since I started with T-mobile, although it happens that was exactly 12 months ago (coincidence?)

You know what, I think the OP is correct!

'3' always appeared quite high up in my alternative network list when doing a manual network scan.

'3' now does not appear at all.

It would appear that my handset has been reprogrammed to treat the 3 Network as T-Mobile  :D

I really don't think so...

Why, then, does my T-Mobile 3G phone not detect the 3 UK network, whilst a Vodafone 3G Card, in exactly the same position, detects both T-Mobile and the 3 UK 3G networks?

Obviously the only possible reason is the network sharing agreement that doesn't even have any shared cells in place yet...

I would also like to point out that the networking sharing agreement isn't simply a case of allowing t-mobile customers on to 3 and 3 on to t-mobile. It requires site by site work and major infrastructure changes. It isn't just a network update message.

where DO you get your information from?

I've just got my message and confirm that 3 still appears in my list after a reboot.

Of course, you guys do realise that in some places cells are going to be removed if duplication is not thought necessary

where DO you get your information from?

Probably from having an understanding of how mobile radio communication networks actually work.

Doing a network scan, I still see all 5 networks listed, but also have another, "235 94", which won't let me on. Strange!

Really strange. All UK networks are 234

True, they are. I was referring to there being a sixth network on my list, when AFAIK we only have five in the UK; Voda, Ora, O2, T-Mob, 3.
