disconnection

Please help. I'm using an N73 payg Vodafone. when connected to internet and real player wants to open phone tells me 'connection to server needed. Connect? pressing yes comes up 'Max.number of connections in use. Close an active connection first'. disconnecting from payt wap obviously cuts the whole connection. Browser and services connection are both payt wap, is this correct? there are no barring restictions on the phone, any ideas?

Hi Silversurfer,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems accessing the internet on your handset.

The reason you're getting the error message is down to the Real Player settings being incorrect. They need to be set to the same profile that you're using to connect to the internet i.e. PAYT WAP.

To check the settings you will need to follow these steps:

Select Tools from the main menu
Highlight Settings and select options and open
Highlight Application and select options and open
Highlight Real Player and select options and open
Highlight Streaming and select options and open
Highlight Network and select options and open
Scroll to Default Access Point and select options and change.
Scroll to PAYT WAP and select it


Once this has been set you should be able to connect to the internet by selecting the browser icon without getting the error message.

Thanks Techgirl, problem sorted. Any idea what the maximum bandwidth settings are that tne n73 can handle?
