Just to let you know your contract does not expire at the end of your contracted period it changes to a month by month notice plan.

You will need to either terminate your contract if you want to leave voda, or request a PAC code if you want to move to another network. Upgrade to start a new contract with voda or leave as is where you are on a month by month contract.

If you want a better deal you could try calling retentions and depending on your monthly spend they may be able to offer you a better deal.

If you want to keep your number another way is to port your number to another networks payg sim then port it back when you take out a new contract with voda.

If you just want to get a better deal by taking out a new number and new contract with voda remember to terminate your old contract as you will end up paying for 2 contracts.

Phones 4 U are doing a deal on this phone, on vodafone, depending on how much you spend a month. £45 a month for 750 xnet mins, 3000 txts and 120mb data included, plus a few extras .. £50 for the phone but if you haggle you can get the phone for free. This is on an 18 month contract but if you go back to them at month 12 and drop your talk plan to the lowest rate they will pay the remainder off so you can upgrade then.

I've always been a bit unsure about deals like this but have asked around and I know a few people that have upgraded in this way with phones 4 U.

Maybe they can upgrade you to this if it's in your monthly price range?

3 are doing it for £30 a month without incurring any cost for the handset. If you go on higher price plans you get much more free xnet mins + txt. For £30-35 per month you can get a decent package. Contract is 18 months.
