Change price plan

I contacted 3 today to ask if I could change my monthly price plan, the operator started to give me various options but I asked if I could look on the 3 website to find the best deal to suit me and he said that was okay. I looked on the website and then rang back and asked to change to mix & match 500. I was then told that the mix & match was only available to new customers, even though it did not say that on the website, I spoke to a supervisor but again she said it was only available to new customers. Is this correct, and is there anyway you can speak to someone in the UK.

Mix & Match are for upgrading and new customers only. Once you are on them you can move up and down as you like within the range but you CANT move from say DT1000 to Mix & Match.... only when upgrading

i had exactly the same issue about 3 weeks ago. 3 stores will upgrade you to mix and match, customer service over the phone say its impossible, no idea whats going on, but I got my upgrade, and n95 from the 3 store and upgraded from vtt700 to mnm500 no probs, the manager was so confused himself he has actually written to three and copied me in on the e-mail to ask whats it all about. You are about the 10th person I have come across with the same problem I had.

i finally got it i got the mix and match 900 with n95 for £28 a month from customer service. i just said i would like to upgrade to that they let me was amazed.

I have recenty downgrades/upgraded to amix and match.... I have given up on the very helpful call centers and walked into a 3 shop....deal with people in the flesh, sign and take the new phone with me there and then. No problem:)
