Hi Guys,
Forgive me if this is the wrong section as i am new to the forums,
I have got a N95 and i am wanting to setup the phone so that i can go on the internet using WAP/3G but the settings are all for o2 network and not vodafone (contract). I have tried setting up the Access Point to match vodafones settings, which i have found on the web somewhere but all i get is "no gateway relpy" So i am not sure if its correct, i have tried contacting vodafone and they said they would send then OTA but i never recieve anything.
the packet data though is still pointing to o2 network and i don't know what the vodafone one is.
Can someone who as a N95 on vodafone please tell me the settings so that i can get it working.
thank you
Toonboy.

Is there an echo in here?
And why would the OP want to use wap?

wap?
hmmmm... just put your mobile number into the box on the page, and vodafone sends u a sms/text if their settings, for pay monthly or pay as u go..
and then save the settings onto your phone.. rather than type it in..
there's a echo cos admin had to approve replies, even though i posted, it took time to be processed.
saying that, i debranded me n95, to firmware 20, and i was a pay monthy contract. all the sms settings from that vodfonehelp site work. but i've not been able to update my tomtom device GPSquickfix using my n95 wireless connection.. but thats a different issue i guess.

hi all, just a quick line to let you know that my internet settings have also gone awry since updating my n95 to the v20 firmware .
so far i have requested the settings by text (as suggested above) several times without reply, and also used the phone's inbuilt settings wizard which seeks confirmation from vodafone over the air - sadly all to no avail.
texts incl mms are okay, but surfing is hit and miss at best using vodafone live (3g) and vodafone internet (gprs) thinks its the 3g connection according to the symbol on the phone but data speeds are very slow.
i will continue my search and post back if i manage to get it sorted.
onwards & upwards!
