View Full Version : Using 3g on my laptop

Hello,

I have a Nokia N73 on 3 pay as you go. When I buy the internet addon for a fiver is there anyway this can be used to browse the net from my laptop using connection cable or bluetooth please?

Just use Nokia's PC Suite (use the old version on the CD that came with your N73 or download the latest from one of Nokia's websites)

Once it's installed just follow the prompts and connect up your phone with either the cable or wirelessly through bluetooth.

T&Cs state that you're not meant to use the £5 add-on for mobile modem use but it's quite clear it works (and works well!)

You need to buy one of the new mobile broadband add ons which started on 21st december you can add it online of via you phoned by selecting planet 3 then buy add ons prices are £10 for 1 gig £15 for 3 gig and £25 for 7 gig.

Conrad, you just download the software and install it like any other software (I'm presuming you're using XP or Vista). Just follow the instructions all the way. Once it's all installed you just follow the prompts and attach the USB cable when it asks you to (bluetooth might be a bit more complicated)

just wondering, is there anyway three can find out that you are using the addon on your pc and if they do, what will they do?
