Delay in SMS delivery to phone

This is my first Christmas using T-mobile.

On Christmas Day all text messages were delayed by over 12 hours and I have just started getting texts sent from midnight !!

My wife is on T-mobile and I could send to her but she could not reply... Well I will probably get it at 4am.


Is this normal?

No.

Christmas is extremely busy, as is new year. The SMS end up being stored in the systems and forwarded when they are less busy.

As far as i can see there are still systems playing catchup from this morning.

Still not getting texts from my wifes mobile today.

Now been on hold to CS for 15 mins after being out through to the correct department. Who choose that Hold music!!!!!!!!!
