Press The Following On Your Mobile*#06# And The-International Mobile Equipment Identity Number Appears. Then Check The 7th And 8th Numbers:

Tabulated As Follows :

If The Seventh & Eighth Digits Are 0 , 2 Or 2 , 0 This Means Your Cell Phone Was Assembled In Emirates Which Is Very Bad Quality

If The Seventh & Eighth Digits Are 0 , 8 Or 8 , 0 This Means Your Cell Phone Was Manufactured In Germany Which Is Fair Quality

If The Seventh & Eighth Digits Are 0, 1 or 1, 0 This Means Your Cell Phone Was Manufactured In Finland Which Is Very Good

If The Seventh & Eighth Digits Are 0 , 0 This Means Your Cell Phone Was Manufactured In Original Factory Which Is The Best Mobile Quality

Interesting stuff, Rexton. Have a question: I always thought Finland was original factory. If not, where is the original factory?

Hmmmm.... faults with Finland phones seem to crop up much more on another forum. Perhaps it's just that more come from there.

Oh, it also says Made in ....... behind the battery. ;)

Oh good........... I thought Nokia was a Finnish company, was terrified the Chinese might have bought it!!!!!!!!!!! :dead:
