contacts error!!!

hi,
just got my n82 today and am very impressed but needed to copy my contacts from my n95,
this i cannot fathom, i copied all contacts to my sim moved it to the other phone, n82 copied to contacts. now when someone rings even if i have there number stored it does not show who is calling,

any ideas i am stuck

Hi,
do this :
turn on Bluetooth on 95 and 82.
phone setting-utilities-switch.
choose what you want to sync and follow on screen prompts.

and what is even cooler..when you get it sorted , you can have the name of the caller read out to you by the synthesised voice!

hi, ive done the synchronise, but no joy,
contacts on phone memory n95, bt to n82
still the word call!!

If you have the same number duplicated in two entries, or on the phone and SIM you get this problem.

I'm guessing you didn't delete them from the SIM.

just checked, only service provider numbers on sim, normal contacts on phone, even deleted a few and resent as business cards, still same..........oh well

its a product code thing

ive changed to a euro product code from original and now callers names and numbers come up, no idea what are code was on before as a search did not reveal anything via the web, baffled me but cheers all
