As some you may know, three use to do a casual internet access add-on so you pretty much pay as you go for data, however this is the rather expensive route cause i think its like £1 per MB or something like that, really crap.
Anyway, three recently did away with that add-on & automatically gave customers (so probably everyone) will be able to access the internet, whether intentionally or accidently, anything that tries to get access or use your browser will be allowed full internet access.
They have however recently added the option to turn this off, under my account on your mobile (within my three) there is an ACCESS SETTING.
Simply visit that page to switch off the internet / visit my three on the web, click my account & then access setting. You can specify your settings there also.
I though this would be helpful as i had xseries but its currently turned off, but while it was on some apps connect & i has unbilled charges so rather than be charged accidently, best turn off when not hoping to use mobile internet.
MSN will still connect & three services will still work.
Funny enough a three customer service agent had no idea what this access setting was when i called them before xmas.
