I recently extended my contract, (18 months) and arranged for a shiny new phone to be sent to me, everything went as planned until i received two invoices for delivery, for two phones, to two different addresses (both very similar, but postcodes were different) so i rang vodafone and sorted it out, and forgot about it. two month later i have received a letter claiming two phones were sent to me, demanding the return of the non-existent second phone. So yet again I was on the phone to vodafone, were i was told they would look into it and call me back. which they never did, I then received a further letter demanding this phone back. again i was on the phone to vodafone. again i was bumped from department to department, promised they would phone me to sort it out, yet again, no call. on the 20th on December i received a letter from vodafone informing me that they are billing me £216 (£36 more than the pay as you go price) for a phone they admit was sent to the wrong address, claiming it was signed for with my name. I can't get any sense from the customer service, with them opting to either tell me they will look into it and call me back (and then not doing so) or claiming that the delivery driver would "know where to drop it off" despite the address and postcode being wrong. and him clearly not dropping it off as i haven't got the damned thing. Who can I complain to? vodafone appears to be completely interested in speaking to me (having an account for year means nothing for some reason). all i can think to do is either send them me G600 and use me spare (then cancel my contract asap) or refuse to pay, cancel my direct debit and go from there, any ideas how i sort this out? AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH! im pulling my hair out.
