As far as I'm aware, Orange's data bundle only includes 30mb of data, so you'll be better off with Voda, 3 or T-Mobile if it's serious data usage you're after.
Orange did have an unlimited plan a while ago, but it was only available for a very short time.
I'm assuming things haven't changed since the last time I looked. Of course, if my info is out of date, I'm sure somebody will correct me soon.
:)
EDIT: I've just checked on the Orange website, and yep, it's a measly 30mb for £8 per month. So I'd steer clear of Orange if you're looking for a serious amount of data usage.
For info, I've found this here: http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/yourplan/additionalservices

Those plans are way more expensive than you can get on the other networks though.
Even O2 can better that now. This is an area Orange are seriously lagging behind in and will lose a lot of potential business because of it.
I was considering Orange because I liked the Windows Mobile handsets you can get with them, but decided against it because of the data plans. I normally use 100-200mb per month and that would have cost me a fortune on Orange.
When you can get a fair usage amount of 1gb per month for £5 from Three or £7.50 from T-Mobile, there's no comparison.

Ok Oranges data plans may not be the best but if you are paying the £8.00 pm for 30Meg, Then you should see if you can get this one instead. Same price 250MB.
Orange World for Business 250 £6.38 250MB £0.80

Have just checked 3s T&Cs FUP on the X series.
Unlimited Data
Fair Use Limit: 1 GB each month
X-Series - 1 GB should be more than enough to allow you to surf websites, use ISP email and download podcasts
X-Series Silver & Gold - 1 GB should be more than enough to allow you to surf websites.
NOT 2GB.

Orange is not the network to be on if you want data - the data plans are absolute rubbish.
It is all very well mentioning Orange World for Business 250 but as none business customers can not get this, it is a bit misleading.
I shall be leaving orange (I've been an orange customer for over 10 years) as soon as possible - it is no longer a viable service for me.

have just got of the phone to Orange Premier. Orange know their data tariffs are poor and will soon be launching new products. She was unable to give me any more details. However from the way she spoke I think its only a matter of weeks away.

Annoyingly I just spoke to Orange. The £5 a month deal allows 1000MB of data, but only during weekends and evenings. The £8 a month is anytime but as has already been said, allows a measly 30MB. Terrible.
