format of vids and music on planet3

does anyone know the format which the music videos download in and also the music? tryna get my samsung g800 to work, its now downloading the content but just says unsupported format.

any help be great.

Not sure about the music, but the last time I downloaded a music video from 3, it was in .3gp format.

That was quite a while ago, though. It may have changed since then.

I think it depends on what phone you are using as I have used a number of different '3' handsets and some download videos as mp4 and on another phone the same video will download as a 3gp video as for audio tracks I have been these in AAC, 3GA and even in 3GP format but without any video content just audio. Some may be DRM wrapped in a .DCF or a .DM file but you will find that the actual file type is still on of the above

You might also find the problem is using a Samsung handset because 3uk are yet to actually bring out a Samsung handset.

i know but theres another member on the forum who has sucessfully managed to get most if the contnt working apart from games so was just wondering. it plays the free clips just doesnt like to open the vids and music yet is downloading it fine too.
