View Full Version : Oh My Word! What Is O2 Doing With Their Billing System??

I have been a customer with o2 for a good few years. However, I recieved a letter yesterday telling me that my contract is not available on their new billing system, and so they are moving me onto another one, without my consent, even though my current contract runs until November 2008. The contract that they are telling me I HAVE to take is nearly double the price which I am paying at the moment, and I get less things that I want.

The contract that I am on currently, which I still want, and o2 agreed 4 weeks ago to give me for a year, is now being ignored.

I have rung o2 a lot! and have got absolutely nowhere. No one is taking responsibility for honouring their existing contracts. They have also told me that there is nothing I can do about it until the new contract comes onto my account, at the end of January, at which point I have 24 hours to try to sort it out before i start getting charged the extra amount.

I can't believe it! :cross-eye

Has anyone else had similar problems or have ideas about what to do?

Surely, if they are changing your T&Cs to your detriment, then you can request a PAC and cancel without penalty!

As stated, just request you PAC code and leave. Doubling your tariff is sufficient a detriment.

If you let it go onto the new tariff they will try to claim that you have accepted it by your use.
