msn works on 3g but not on wireless

All,

I can use msn messenger (that was preinstalled on the 3 handset N95) brilliantly, but cannot use it via my home wlan, I can surf using my wlan with the handset perfectly but just cannot get msn to login.

The error is that is just sits/hangs at verifying username and password and goes no further.

I'm using the live messenger that comes preinstalled and have used the 3 links in planet to ensure its the latest.

Do I have to do anything on my wlan to get it to work ? customer services say they do not support wlan's !!

Any help/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated

It is MSN but 3 network released it to work with ther network and dataplan. It wont connect to anything else.
Just curious: How come you started another thread?

oh ok thanks, that's a bit limiting.

Can I install the general msn client so I can use it on wireless ? if so where do i get it and I would want both clients.

I started a second thread as, like other forums, I was expecting my first thread to appear in a few seconds when it didn't I assumed I didn't click post.

I've got both messengers but their not working at the moment.

On the N95 there is a nokia download application, im unsure if the three's firmware version will have the generic live messenger as i am aware with three the applications are slightly different, if you cant find it on the download app, place a post & ill post it up.
