Look at the iphone, the GUI is fantastic, it looks good, is pretty much bug free, its quick and looks absolutely fantastic. I dont want an iphone as it has many many pitfalls (that you all know of) however 1. The GUI has instant appeal for the public - hence all the sales 2. It loks so slick and just damn sexy. Now if you compare it to S60.. S60 looks and works horribly (I am not talking about functionality because we all know S60 wins that hands down). Now I am concerned for Nokia, I dont want Nokia to create a touch S60 based purely on the old GUI - which I am 90% sure they are doing (yes I know hapitcos will be great but I am talking style here - and this believe it or not is v important for a large proportion of the public). The GUI is old, tired, ugly and unintuituve, its needs a complete overhall/revamp not an evolution. It looks like SE have 'got it' - the new UIQ OS is looking very 'sexy' indeed as well as functional, why cant Nokia do the same??
