Now I've tried a few apps with the Accelerometer (Channels - Good, Activity Monitor - Useful, Accelerinvaders - Fun, EmTube - Smart & Lightsaber - Stupid) I got to thinking what other applications people might want to see developed.

I'd quite like a motion sensitive version of Pacman and if it was at all possible a Calender which in the "upright position" shows week view (tilt to move back and forwards a week and when sideways a day view (tilt to move back and fowards each day).

Any other ideas?

P.S. Activity Monitor - £300+ Phone plus free pedometer application. Cornflakes £1.50 plus free pedometer :p :p

Have you seen the demo video for Nokmote?
http://www.bysamir.fr/nokmote/

It will allow you to do most of that in one application - using the accelermeter to replace the N95's direction keys... :D

A G-tech type dynamometer:

http://www.gtechpro.com/

I have the old model G-tech, and by entering the cars weight it gives you:

Instant G
0-60mph/100kph acceleration time.
0-1/4 mile time.
Max and instant rear wheel horsepower.
Cornering G:s
Braking G:s

I believe the newer models allows you to enter the gear ratios and it will plot power and torque vs RPM as well.

The iPhone and iPod touch has all needed hardware, all that is needed is some software.

The original G-tech has only a one axis accelerometer, so the iPhone/iPod touch would do much better with its three axis accelerometer.

I would easily pay for something like this, if it is done well.
